Our next exhibit comes from the Peace River Chapter of The Federation of Canadian Artists.
The FCA aims to advance the knowledge and appreciation of art and culture to all Canadians through supporting and promoting emerging to professional artists within their membership. The Peace River Chapter consists of 38 supporting and active members who reside in Dawson Creek, Fort St. John, Chetwynd, Tumbler Ridge, Beaverlodge, Grande Prairie, and the surrounding areas.
“The word home is one of the most meaningful words that we use. Home can be a place where we live, or anywhere that we experience a sense of peace and well being. Home can be a community where we engage with others, or it could be a fleeting moment of peace in the outdoors on a sunny afternoon.”
The opening reception of “Peace Rver: Home is…” will be on Saturday, May 9th from 4:00 to 6:30pm.
