SUMMARY:Love Bomb
DESCRIPTION:Love Bomb is a rock concert within a play – and a mystery on top of that. A concert of emotion rips through Justine’s first performance in years and all because of one uninvited guest, her music takes on a life of its own. Directed by Reneé Iaci and starring Linda Quibell and Amanda Testini, Love Bomb takes an intimate and emotionally brave look at sex trafficking. In Canada, countless lives have been, and continue to be affected by this epic problem. The dramatic production by shameless hussy productions features nine original songs written by Steve Charles (Miss Shakespeare, Chelsea Hotel) with book and lyrics by Meghan Gardiner.\n“It’s a whole new kind of musical in which the songs provide sequential clues to an unraveling mystery… And you’ve never seen or heard anything like Sara Vickruck, either… she’s simply dynamite. In fact, she’s what shameless hussy is all about” – Jo Ledingham, Vancouver Courier\n“…[Love Bomb] is captivating, heartbreaking, and above all, important. The talent explodes off the stage and brings to life Gardiner’s essential message: “Whether it’s as an explosion of fierce adoration or as a manipulative tool, love is powerful.” – The Peak\n
